Police Rescue Kidnap Victim, Arrest Eight Suspects in Delta and Kaduna

The Nigeria Police Force has rescued a kidnap victim and arrested eight suspected kidnappers in ongoing operations against abductions and violent crimes across the country.

Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed in a statement on Sunday that the operations were carried out in Kaduna and Delta States by tactical units.

According to the statement, the victim, identified as Hussaini Ibrahim from Jagindi Tasha Village in Jema’a LGA, Kaduna State, was rescued after a coordinated effort forced the kidnappers to abandon him in a nearby forest.

Adejobi added that firearms, ammunition, and fabricated weapons were also recovered during the raids.

The police reiterated their commitment to intensifying efforts in combating kidnapping and other violent crimes nationwide.
