Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, have kicked off their final preparation phase for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project, Abuja.
Head coach Aliyu Zubairu is leading the training, combining local and foreign-based talents. While some overseas players are yet to be released by their clubs, Zubairu says camp is “in top gear.”
Among the key players is David Stockbrink of Fortuna Sittard, returning after missing AFCON due to injury.
