The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has strongly condemned the assault on corps member Jennifer Elobor by local security operatives in Anambra State, calling the incident “unfortunate” and unjustifiable.
In a statement released Wednesday, Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, stated:
“Management strongly condemns the unacceptable and dehumanising manner in which the operatives conducted their operations, regardless of their justification for the purported investigation.”
The NYSC also pledged to provide psychological support for the affected corps member.
