The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has announced the end of its search and rescue efforts following the recent boat mishap in Sokoto State.
According to Aliyu Kafindangi, Head of NEMA’s Sokoto Office, only three bodies have been recovered so far, while 25 out of over 50 passengers were rescued. More than 20 individuals remain unaccounted for.
