Police issue new images following fatal stabbing of 15-Year-Old in London

Police have released new images of a man they urgently wish to question in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenage boy in north London.

Detectives are seeking information about 22-year-old Abdel Derdour following the death of 15-year-old Adam Henry, who was stabbed in Islington last week.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Westbourne Road at about 1pm on December 9. Adam was treated at the scene and later in hospital but died despite extensive medical efforts, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.

A 20-year-old man, Tsidi Winion, from Handyside Street in Camden, has since been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Police are appealing to the public for help in locating Abdel Derdour, who reportedly fled towards Caledonian Road after the incident. He is described as around 5ft 8in tall, of mixed heritage, with a slim build, and was last seen with a moustache and facial hair.

Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart, who oversees policing in Islington, said the victim’s family had suffered an unimaginable loss and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Investigators believe Derdour may frequent Holborn and nearby areas. Adam’s family previously paid tribute to him, describing him as a loving and loyal young man with a warm smile and a playful sense of humour, whose loss has left them devastated.
