The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has condemned the unacceptable behaviour displayed by some players and officials during the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 Final between Morocco and Senegal in Rabat.
CAF emphasized that any inappropriate conduct during matches—especially actions directed at referees or match organizers—is unacceptable. The governing body stated that it is reviewing all match footage and will refer the matter to the relevant authorities to ensure appropriate action is taken against those found culpable.
This comes as CAF reaffirms its commitment to maintaining discipline and respect on the continent’s biggest football stage.
