Vice President Kashim Shettima has announced that the Federal Government will soon begin the reconstruction of the Akwanga-Jos road, a critical infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity in the region.
Shettima made this statement during an event in Jos on Tuesday, where he officially welcomed Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang into the All Progressives Congress (APC). Mutfwang, who was previously elected as governor under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), defected to the APC.

- Road Reconstruction: Shettima confirmed that work on the Akwanga-Jos road will commence shortly, with the contractor set to mobilize to the site within the next three weeks.
