US President Donald Trump has rejected Iran’s latest peace proposal, describing the terms as “totally unacceptable,” amid growing tensions over the Middle East conflict.
Iran, while responding to Washington’s proposal through mediators, warned that it would retaliate against any renewed US strikes and oppose foreign military presence in the Strait of Hormuz.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also insisted the war would not end until Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is removed and its nuclear facilities dismantled.
The latest developments have raised fears of renewed escalation in the region despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to secure a lasting ceasefire.
