Brazzaville/Lusaka, 20 August 2025 – From 25 to 27 August, health ministers from 47 African nations will convene in Lusaka, Zambia, for the 75th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa — the highest health decision-making forum in the region.
The event will shape key regional health policies, priorities, and investment strategies. Over 500 delegates are expected, including WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Regional Director for Africa Dr. Mohamed Janabi, UN agencies, civil society groups, and development partners.
