Nigeria and Brazil have signed a Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) to establish direct flights between both countries, aiming to strengthen economic, cultural, and diplomatic relations.
The agreement was formalised during President Bola Tinubu’s two-day state visit to Brazil, where he was received by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
According to the Minister of Aviation’s media adviser, Tunde Moshood, the MoU marks a major step in fostering closer ties and improving connectivity for trade, tourism, and cooperation between the two nations.
