NAFDAC has confiscated banned, expired, and unregistered goods worth over ₦1.5 billion during a major raid at the Lagos Trade Fair Market.
Led by Director of Investigation and Enforcement, Martins Iluyomade, the operation targeted the cosmetics section, uncovering warehouses filled with unregistered and improperly labeled items.
The agency reported evacuating more than a trailer load of these products, with another trailer carrying cosmetics also intercepted.
