Senate President Godswill Akpabio has returned to Nigeria after a short vacation in London, dismissing rumours of critical illness or hospitalisation in the UK.
Before his break, Akpabio attended the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva (July 29–31, 2025).
He arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja around 4:00 a.m. Monday and was warmly received by senators, aides, and supporters.
