Bayelsa State has officially declared its intention to host the 2028 National Sports Festival.
Director General of the National Sports Commission, Bukola Olopade, made this known during a visit to Yenagoa on Monday, where he assessed the state’s facilities and met with key stakeholders.
Olopade, alongside Nigeria Wrestling Federation President and Bayelsa Sports Commissioner Daniel Igali, discussed the state’s preparedness and vision. He described Bayelsa’s commitment as commendable, noting that the festival is a vital symbol of national unity and sporting excellence.
