Hon. Zainab Adeshewa Shotayo, the only female elected councillor in Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, has passed away after a brief illness. She was inaugurated just three weeks ago and served as Chief Whip of the 6th Legislative Arm, representing Ward C3.
Her death has deeply shaken the council secretariat in Ilupeju.
Council Chairman, Hon. Seyi Jakande, mourned her passing, describing her as the youngest and one of the most inspiring leaders on the council. He praised her commitment to service and her role as a model for young women in leadership.
