The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has summoned Comfort Emmanson, flight attendant Juliana Edward, and other Ibom Air crew members for further investigation into the incident aboard a Uyo–Lagos flight.
NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs, Michael Achimugu, confirmed the summons on Tuesday during a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja. He stated that initial engagement with Emmanson had taken place earlier that day, and the crew is expected to appear before the Authority on Wednesday.
The incident, which gained attention after a viral video showed Emmanson being dragged by airline staff, is under formal review.
