Renowned chef and former Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, is aiming for another global feat—cooking the largest pot of Jollof rice ever recorded.
Scheduled for September 12, 2025, at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos, the culinary challenge will feature a giant custom-made pot measuring six meters wide and six meters tall.
Baci, who captured global attention with her 100-hour Cook-a-thon in May 2023, announced the ambitious Jollof rice attempt via social media and has already conducted a test run to prepare for the big day.
