A building collapse occurred at a construction site on [insert location if available], involving one of two ongoing construction projects. A preliminary investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the incident.
Fortunately, no lives were lost, and no injuries were reported, as all workers on-site reportedly escaped unharmed before the arrival of emergency responders.
Notably, the pillars of the collapsed structure fell onto the Liberty Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (@rccghq), partially impacting the church building. Thankfully, worshippers who were present at the time also escaped unscathed, and no casualties were recorded within the church premises.
According to the Cobra Response Team, a coordinated search and rescue operation was immediately carried out in conjunction with all relevant emergency response agencies to ensure that no victims were trapped under the rubble. The search confirmed that there were no trapped individuals at the scene.
In the aftermath of the collapse, the entire construction site has been cordoned off to prevent unauthorized access. In addition, public sensitisation campaigns were conducted around the area to warn residents and passersby to stay clear of the danger zone.
