The United States Department of State is set to release limited-edition passports to commemorate America’s 250th independence anniversary.
The special passports will feature the image of Donald Trump on the inside cover, alongside elements such as the Declaration of Independence and the American flag.
According to officials, the commemorative passports will include customised artwork and enhanced imagery while maintaining the same high-level security features as standard U.S. passports.
State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott confirmed the development, noting that the release is part of broader celebrations marking the nation’s 250th anniversary in July.
Additional design features include a modified cover with enlarged “United States of America” text and a back cover displaying a historic version of the American flag with “250” centered among 13 stars.
The passports will be available to U.S. citizens during the rollout period, while supplies last, and will be issued through the Washington Passport Agency.
The initiative forms part of the wider “America250” celebrations, which include major events planned across the country.
