The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has clarified that its decision to exit the OPEC framework is not targeted at any country or group.
Officials stated that the move is based on the nation’s long-term economic strategy and energy priorities, rather than political considerations. The UAE emphasised its continued commitment to stability in global energy markets and cooperation with international partners.
The government noted that its focus remains on diversifying its economy, expanding production capacity, and adapting to evolving global energy demands.
Despite the exit, the UAE reaffirmed that it maintains strong bilateral relationships with oil-producing nations and will continue to play a significant role in the global energy sector.
