The Lagos State Government is set to commence its 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing on Monday, May 11, as members of the State Executive Council present accounts of stewardship under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat.
Organised by the Ministry of Information and Strategy, the month-long exercise will provide Ministries, Departments, and Agencies the opportunity to highlight achievements recorded over the past year across the various pillars of the THEMES+ Agenda.
According to the state government, the annual briefing is designed to promote transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement by presenting the administration’s performance in clear facts and figures.
The government noted that this year’s edition carries added significance as it comes ahead of the general elections, giving Lagosians the opportunity to evaluate ongoing projects, developmental milestones, and future plans aimed at building a Greater Lagos.
Officials say the exercise will also deepen public understanding of the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and improved welfare for residents across the state.
All briefing sessions are expected to be streamed live across the Lagos State Government’s official social media platforms.
