The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the results for the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External, conducted for private candidates.
According to available data, the examination recorded a strong performance, with 82.26% of candidates achieving five credits and above, either including or irrespective of key subjects, as reported.
This follows the announcement of the internal (school-based) SSCE results in September 2025, which showed that 60.26% of candidates obtained five credits and above including Mathematics and English Language, while 84.26% achieved five credits and above irrespective of these subjects.
The external results were formally released on February 3, 2026, by NECO’s Registrar and Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi.
