President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday received a high-level delegation from the World Bank at the State House, Abuja.
The delegation was led by the World Bank’s Managing Director of Operations, Anna Bjerde.
The meeting was confirmed in a post on X by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Although details of the discussions were not immediately disclosed, the engagement is believed to be part of ongoing talks between Nigeria and the World Bank on development financing, economic reforms, and support for key sectors of the economy.
