Social media comedian Carter Efe defeated street-hop singer Habeeb “Portable” Badmus in a celebrity boxing bout on Friday night, winning by unanimous decision after three rounds at Chaos in the Ring 4, held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
All three judges scored the fight 30–27 in Efe’s favour, ending Portable’s run as the reigning celebrity boxing champion.
Portable, known for victories over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, had entered the match confidently, vowing to secure a third title. He had earlier boasted that he would overpower Efe just as he had his previous opponents.
Efe, however, remained unfazed and promised a quick finish.
Inside the ring, Portable started aggressively in the first round, throwing wild punches, but Efe stayed composed, landing clean uppercuts and body shots. The second round saw little change in Portable’s approach, while Efe became more precise, connecting with stronger combinations. The final round followed the same pattern, with Efe clearly in control until the bell.
The victory crowned Carter Efe as the new celebrity boxing champion.
